The Roosevelt Rough Riders basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Aurora Greenmen to 37 in the Rough Riders league triumph on Wednesday.

The Rough Riders now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tallmadge for a Suburban - American contest on Saturday, January 7. Roosevelt will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 44-41 league win over Cuyahoga Falls (Cuyahoga Falls, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 5-5.

The Greenmen (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Barberton (Barberton, OH). The Magics enter the Suburban - American contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Barberton was defeated by Copley (Copley, OH), 64-12, in a league contest.
