The Ben Lippen Falcons basketball team (Columbia, SC), was overwhelmed 70-32 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Heathwood Hall Episcopal Highlanders (Columbia, SC)

The Highlanders now possess a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cardinal Newman for a SCISA AAAA Region I battle on Friday, January 6. Heathwood Hall Episcopal will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 50-49 non-league loss to Laurence Manning Academy (Manning, SC). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-9.

With the defeat, Ben Lippen moves to 8-5 on the year. The Falcons host Augusta Christian (Martinez, GA) to meet the Lions in a SCISA AAAA Region I match on Friday, January 6.
