Bethlehem Central Eagles (Delmar, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Troy Flying Horses (Troy, NY), 81-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Bethlehem Central upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Eagles host Albany (Albany, NY) to play the Falcons in a Section 2 Suburban bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 10-0. Albany won 62-48 in their recent league bout against Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Springs, NY)

Next up, the Flying Horses play the Ballston Spa Scotties (Ballston Spa, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban bout, on Friday, January 6. Troy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Scotties go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 72-23 non-league win over Lansingburgh (Troy, NY).
