Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) and the visiting Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA), saw St. John's's basketball squad wallop Bishop O'Connell by a tally of 73-37.
With the victory, St. John's improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Cadets travel to St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD) to confront the Knights in a Washington Catholic challenge on Friday, January 6. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 6-6. St. Mary's Ryken lost 57-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Riverdale Baptist (Upper Marlboro, MD)
Next up, the Knights confront the Elizabeth Seton (Bladensburg, MD) in a Washington Catholic challenge, on Friday, January 6. Bishop O'Connell will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 60-27 non-league loss to Paul VI (Chantilly, VA).
