The Booker T. Washington Magnet Yellow Jackets basketball team (Montgomery, AL), was nudged 41-38 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Dallas County Hornets (Plantersville, AL)
The Hornets now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wilcox Central for a 4A Area 5 battle on Friday, January 6. Dallas County will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 61-57 non-league loss to Johnson (Thomaston, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-2.
The Yellow Jackets (0-6) will now prepare for their battle against LAMP (Montgomery, AL). The Golden Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, LAMP edged Montevallo (Montevallo, AL), 45-23, in a non-league battle.
