In Wednesday's league outing, the Hartford Hurricanes (White River Junction, VT) basketball squad edged the visiting Brattleboro Colonels (Brattleboro, VT), by a count of 41-40.
The Hurricanes (8-2) will now prepare for their outing against Thetford Academy (Thetford, VT). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, Thetford Academy held off Montpelier (Montpelier, VT), 48-38, in a league outing.
The Colonels now hold a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Windsor for a Marble Valley - B outing on Friday, January 6. Brattleboro will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 58-33 league win over Springfield (Springfield, VT). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 8-3.
