The Chicopee Pacers basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Longmeadow Lancers to 58 in the Pacers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Pacers now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 7. Chicopee will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 76-25 non-league win over Taconic (Pittsfield, MA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 3-2.
The Lancers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Taconic (Pittsfield, MA). The Braves enter the Freelance contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Taconic was nudged by Pittsfield (Pittsfield, MA), 67-40, in a non-league contest.
