Citrus Hill Hawks (Perris, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Perris Panthers (Perris, CA), 30-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Citrus Hill upgrades its record to 1-10 on the season. The Hawks host Liberty (Winchester, CA) to clash with the Bison in a Mountain Pass bout on Friday, January 6. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Liberty lost 51-41 in their recent league bout against West Valley (Hemet, CA)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the San Jacinto Tigers (San Jacinto, CA) in a Mountain Pass bout, on Friday, January 6. Perris will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 42-32 league win over Tahquitz (Hemet, CA).
