With the victory, Huffman upgrades its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Gardendale (Gardendale, AL) to play the Rockets in a 6A Area 11 challenge on Friday, January 6. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Gardendale lost 52-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Cordova (Cordova, AL)

Next up, the Cougars play the Hueytown Golden Gophers (Hueytown, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. Clay-Chalkville will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record.
