South Carolina High School Basketball - Clover thwarts Spartanburg

The Clover Blue Eagles (Clover, SC) basketball knocked off the visiting Spartanburg Vikings (Spartanburg, SC), 64-44 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Blue Eagles (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Gaffney (Gaffney, SC). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Gaffney went down by Riverside (Greer, SC), 66-52, in a non-league test.

The Vikings now own a 9-5 record. They play next when they host Northwestern for a non-league test on Friday, January 6. Spartanburg will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 38-30 non-league loss to Nation Ford (Fort Mill, SC). The Trojans record now stands at 2-8.
