New York High School Basketball - Clyde-Savannah can't hold off Lyons

The Lyons Lions basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the host Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles to 38 in the Lions league victory on Wednesday.
The Lions now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Red Creek for a Section 5 Wayne County contest on Friday, January 6. Lyons will battle a Rams team coming off a 48-21 league loss to Williamson (Williamson, NY). The Rams record now stands at 1-4.
The Golden Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against East Rochester (East Rochester, NY). The Bombers come into the Section 5 Wayne County contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, East Rochester edged Gananda Central (Walworth, NY), 58-43, in a league contest.
