The Orangeville Broncos basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Durand Bulldogs to 9 in the Broncos league triumph on Wednesday.
The Broncos now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lena-Winslow for a Northwest Upstate Illini - North contest on Friday, January 6. Orangeville will meet a Panthers team coming off a 41-38 non-league win over Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 15-3.
The Bulldogs (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Pearl City (Pearl City, IL). The Wolves enter the Northwest Upstate Illini - North contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Pearl City triumphed over Dakota (Dakota, IL), 43-38, in a league contest.
