California High School Basketball - El Dorado trounced by Wood

In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Wood Wildcats basketball team scored a decisive 64-32 victory over the El Dorado Cougars.

The Wildcats now possess a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host De Anza for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 7. Wood will confront a Dons team coming off a 70-29 league loss to Swett (Crockett, CA). The Dons record now stands at 1-12.

The Cougars (5-10) will now prepare for their battle against Rosemont (Sacramento, CA). The Wolverine come into the Sierra Valley Conference battle with a 9-8 record. In their last battle, Rosemont was overwhelmed by Fortune Early College (Sacramento, CA), 48-39, in a non-league battle.
