Fairmont Firebirds (Kettering, OH) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Northmont Thunderbolts (Clayton, OH), 50-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Fairmont upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Firebirds travel to Reynoldsburg (Reynoldsburg, OH) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Reynoldsburg won 55-9 in their recent league bout against Central Crossing (Grove City, OH)

Next up, the Thunderbolts play the Valley View Spartans (Germantown, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 9. Northmont will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record.
