Farmington Cardinals (Farmington, AR) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Prairie Grove Tigers (Prairie Grove, AR), 64-29 in a league bout.
With the win, Farmington upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Cardinals host Gravette (Gravette, AR) to play the Lions in a 4A Region 1 bout on Friday, January 6. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Gravette lost 42-39 in their recent league bout against Gentry (Gentry, AR)
Next up, the Tigers play the Shiloh Christian Saints (Springdale, AR) in a 4A Region 1 bout, on Saturday, January 7. Prairie Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Saints go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 38-32 league loss to Berryville (Berryville, AR).
