Hackettstown Tigers (Hackettstown, NJ) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting High Point Wildcats (Sussex, NJ), 37-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hackettstown upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Jefferson Township (Oak Ridge, NJ) to play the Falcons in a Northwest Jersey - Freedom bout on Friday, January 6. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 5-1. Jefferson Township won 49-25 in their recent league bout against Wallkill Valley (Hamburg, NJ)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Kittatinny Regional Cougars (Newton, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - Freedom bout, on Friday, January 6. High Point will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 29-25 league loss to North Warren Regional (Blairstown, NJ).
