North Carolina High School Basketball - High Point Central overwhelmed by Rockingham County

The High Point Central Bison basketball team (High Point, NC), was overwhelmed 61-13 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Rockingham County Cougars (Wentworth, NC)

The Cougars now possess a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dudley for a 3A Conference 46 battle on Friday, January 6. Rockingham County will confront a Panthers team coming off a 53-49 league win over Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 8-5.

The Bison (0-14) will now prepare for their battle against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC). The Golden Eagles come into the 3A Conference 46 battle with a 9-2 record. In their last battle, Ben L. Smith trounced Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 45-34, in a league battle.
