Jefferson Township Falcons (Oak Ridge, NJ) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Wallkill Valley Rangers (Hamburg, NJ), 49-25 in a league bout.

With the victory, Jefferson Township upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Falcons host Hackettstown (Hackettstown, NJ) to play the Tigers in a Northwest Jersey - Independence bout on Friday, January 6. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 4-0. Hackettstown won 37-33 in their recent non-league bout against High Point (Sussex, NJ)

Next up, the Rangers play the North Warren Regional Patriots (Blairstown, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - Freedom bout, on Friday, January 6. Wallkill Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 29-25 league win over Kittatinny Regional (Newton, NJ).
