Virginia High School Basketball - Southampton Academy tipped by Kenston Forest

The Kenston Forest Kavaliers basketball team scored 24 points and held the visiting Southampton Academy Raiders to 23 in the Kavaliers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Kavaliers now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Banner Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Kenston Forest will meet a team coming off a 66-13 non-league loss to Freeman (Richmond, VA). The record now stands at 2-5.
The Raiders (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Brunswick Academy (Lawrenceville, VA). The Vikings enter the Virginia Colonial contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Brunswick Academy nudged Amelia Academy (Amelia Court House, VA), 42-5, in a league contest.
