The Lyndon Institute Vikings basketball team (Lyndon Center, VT), was nudged 42-39 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Lake Region Rangers (Orleans, VT)

The Rangers now possess a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to U-32 for a Capital battle on Friday, January 6. Lake Region will confront a Raiders team coming off a 53-44 league loss to Lamoille (Hyde Park, VT). The Raiders record now stands at 0-6.

The Vikings (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Harwood (Moretown, VT). The Highlanders come into the Capital battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Harwood was nudged by Spaulding (Barre, VT), 46-40, in a non-league battle.
