The Lakes Lancers basketball team (Lakewood, WA), was routed 77-44 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Lincoln Abes (Tacoma, WA)
The Abes now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spanaway Lake for a 3A Pierce County battle on Friday, January 6. Lincoln will battle a Sentinels team coming off a 65-49 non-league loss to Renton (Renton, WA). The Sentinels record now stands at 3-7.
The Lancers (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Tahoma (Tacoma, WA). The T-Birds come into the 3A Pierce County battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Mount Tahoma was routed by Silas (Tacoma, WA), 53-49, in a league battle.
