The Lakes Eagles (Lake Villa, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Woodstock North Thunder (Woodstock, IL), 47-38 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Eagles (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL). The Knights go into the Northern Lake County test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Grayslake North notched a victory over Amundsen (Chicago, IL), 52-38, in a non-league test.
The Thunder now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Grayslake North for a non-league test on Monday, January 9. Woodstock North will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 42-30 league win over Lakes (Lake Villa, IL). The Knights record now stands at 12-6.
