Virginia High School Basketball - Lebanon fells Tazewell

Lebanon Pioneers (Lebanon, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Tazewell Bulldogs (Tazewell, VA), 63-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lebanon upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Pioneers host Northwood (Saltville, VA) to confront the Panthers in a Hogoheegee challenge on Friday, January 6. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 0-9. Northwood lost 66-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Twin Valley (Pilgrims Knob, VA)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. Tazewell will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Beavers come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 40-33 non-league win over Graham (Bluefield, VA).
