Virginia High School Basketball - Page County can't hold off Luray

The Luray Bulldogs basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Page County Panthers to 42 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Rockingham for a Bull Run contest on Friday, January 6. Luray will battle a Eagles team coming off a 49-26 league win over Madison County (Madison, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-5.
The Panthers (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA). The Falcons enter the Bull Run contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Central Woodstock was nudged by Rappahannock County (Washington, VA), 40-34, in a league contest.
