The Mt. Abraham Eagles (Bristol, VT) basketball crushed the visiting Middlebury Tigers (Middlebury, VT), 60-35 in Wednesday's league test.
The Eagles (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Enosburg Falls (Enosburg Falls, VT). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record.
The Tigers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Missisquoi Valley for a Lake test on Saturday, January 7. Middlebury will encounter a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 56-28 non-league loss to North Country Union (Newport, VT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 2-6.
