In Wednesday's league outing, the St. Francis Prep Terriers (Fresh Meadows, NY) basketball squad edged the visiting Monsignor Scanlan Crusaders (Bronx, NY), by a margin of 56-51.

The Terriers (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Mary Louis Academy (Jamaica, NY). The Hilltoppers go into the Catholic - Brooklyn/Queens I outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Mary Louis Academy was tipped by Bishop Loughlin (Brooklyn, NY), 53-49, in a league outing.

The Crusaders now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mainland for a non-league outing on Friday, January 6. Monsignor Scanlan will clash with a Buccaneers squad coming off a 62-29 non-league win over Ransom Everglades (Miami, FL). The Buccaneers record now stands at 12-3.
