Williamson Marauders (Williamson, NY) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Red Creek Rams (Red Creek, NY), 48-21 in a league bout.

With the victory, Williamson upgrades its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Marauders travel to Gananda Central (Walworth, NY) to play the Blue Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 12. The Blue Panthers come into the bout with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Rams play the Lyons Lions (Lyons, NY) in a Section 5 Wayne County bout, on Friday, January 6. Red Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 40-38 league win over Clyde-Savannah (Clyde, NY).
