In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting Athens Drive Jaguars (Raleigh, NC), by a margin of 37-19.
The Spartans (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Orange (Hillsborough, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league match with a 8-3 record. In their last match, Orange overcame Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC), 30-15, in a league match.
With the defeat, Athens Drive moves to 0-10 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC) to meet the Pride in a non-league match on Friday, January 13. The Pride enter the match with a record of 3-4.
