Clarke County Eagles (Berryville, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Madison County Mountaineers (Madison, VA), 46-17 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Clarke County upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Mountain View (Quicksburg, VA) to play the Generals in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 1-9. Mountain View lost 46-23 in their recent non-league bout against Staunton (Staunton, VA)

Next up, the Mountaineers play the William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. Madison County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record.
