With the victory, Lumberton upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC) to play the Bears in a challenge on Friday, January 6. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Gray's Creek lost 56-18 in their recent league challenge against Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC)

Next up, the Golden Tornadoes play the Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC) in a challenge, on Friday, January 6. Fairmont will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
