The George Washington Eagles basketball team (Danville, VA), was nudged 24-23 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA)
The Trojans now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Patrick County for a non-league battle on Friday, January 6. Tunstall will battle a Cougars team coming off a 49-33 non-league loss to Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-2.
The Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Halifax County (South Boston, VA). The Comets come into the non-league battle with a 1-3 record.
