The Narrows Green Waves basketball team scored 33 points and restricted the visiting Giles Spartans to 19 in the Green Waves non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Green Waves now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland for a non-league contest on Friday, January 6. Narrows will battle a Rams team coming off a 35-29 non-league loss to Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA). The Rams record now stands at 0-5.
The Spartans (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Galax (Galax, VA). The Maroon Tide come into the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Galax prevailed over Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA), 36-21, in a non-league contest.
