The West Cabarrus Wolverines basketball team scored 41 points and held the host A.L. Brown Wonders to 37 in the Wolverines league triumph on Wednesday.
The Wolverines now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Norman for a contest on Friday, January 6. West Cabarrus will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 42-38 non-league win over Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-0.
The Wonders (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cox Mill (Concord, NC). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Cox Mill nudged Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC), 45-33, in a non-league contest.
