Archbishop Curley Friars (Baltimore, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Annapolis Area Christian Eagles (Severn, MD), 71-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Archbishop Curley upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Friars travel to Overlea (Baltimore, MD) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Overlea lost 75-27 in their recent league bout against New Town (Owings Mills, MD)

Next up, the Eagles play the Indian Creek Eagles (Crownsville, MD) in a bout, on Friday, January 6. Annapolis Area Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 82-35 non-league loss to Meade (Fort Meade, MD).
