California High School Basketball - Evergreen Valley can't hold off Live Oak

The Live Oak Acorns basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Evergreen Valley Cougars to 40 in the Acorns league triumph on Wednesday.
The Acorns now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Del Mar for a contest on Wednesday, January 18.
The Cougars (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Prospect (Saratoga, CA). The Panthers enter the contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Prospect nudged Del Mar (San Jose, CA), 59-35, in a league contest.
