In Wednesday's league match, the host Willow Canyon Wildcats basketball squad scored a nice 57-49 victory over the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs.
With the victory, Willow Canyon improves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Paradise Valley (Phoenix, AZ) to confront the Trojans in a challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Paradise Valley lost 77-43 in their recent league challenge against Apollo (Glendale, AZ)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Ironwood Eagles (Glendale, AZ) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Sunrise Mountain will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record.
