The Adams Highlanders basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Oak Park Knights to 51 in the Highlanders league triumph on Thursday.
The Highlanders now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Bloomfield for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Adams will battle a Lakers team coming off a 61-46 non-league loss to North Farmington (Farmington Hills, MI). The Lakers record now stands at 5-5.
The Knights (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Jackson (Jackson, MI). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Jackson ran past Dexter (Dexter, MI), 61-54, in a non-league contest.
