The Anacoco Indians basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting South Beauregard Knights to 30 in the Indians non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Indians now sport a 22-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leesville for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Anacoco will battle a Wampus Cats team coming off a 70-63 non-league loss to South Beauregard (Longville, LA). The Wampus Cats record now stands at 10-8.

The Knights (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Leesville (Leesville, LA). The Wampus Cats enter the non-league contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Leesville ran past Anacoco (Anacoco, LA), 39-36, in a non-league contest.
