Prescott Cardinals (Prescott, WI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Baldwin-Woodville Blackhawks (Baldwin, WI), 60-39 in a league bout.

With the victory, Prescott upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Northwestern (Maple, WI) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 8-2. Northwestern won 68-22 in their recent league bout against Barron (Barron, WI)

Next up, the Blackhawks play the St. Croix Central Panthers (Hammond, WI) in a Middle Border bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Baldwin-Woodville will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 71-58 non-league win over Red Wing (Red Wing, MN).
