Bethlehem Catholic Hawks (Bethlehem, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Freedom Patriots (Bethlehem, PA), 50-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bethlehem Catholic upgrades its record to 2-9 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Louis E. Dieruff (Allentown, PA) to play the Huskies in a Lehigh Valley battle on Monday, January 8. The Huskies come into the battle with a record of 4-5.

The Patriots (3-10) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty (Bethlehem, PA). The Hurricanes come into the Lehigh Valley battle with a 8-3 record.
