South Carolina High School Basketball - Bethune-Bowman over Whale Branch

January 4, 2024: Orangeburg, SC 29133

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Bethune-Bowman Mohawks (Orangeburg, SC) and the visiting Whale Branch Warriors (Beaufort, SC), saw Bethune-Bowman's basketball squad overcome Whale Branch by a tally of 54-42.

With the victory, Bethune-Bowman improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Mohawks travel to Woodville-Tompkins (Savannah, GA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 12-2. Woodville-Tompkins lost 79-75 in their recent non-league challenge against Bradwell Institute (Hinesville, GA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Hampton County Hurricanes (Varnville, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Whale Branch will attempt to improve on its 7-6 season record. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 54-45 non-league loss to South Point (Belmont, NC).
