The Bibb County Choctaws basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Holt Ironmen to 20 in the Choctaws league victory on Thursday.
The Choctaws now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pickens County for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Bibb County will battle a Tornadoes team coming off a 48-41 non-league win over Aliceville (Aliceville, AL). The Tornadoes record now stands at 1-3.
The Ironmen (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Holy Spirit Catholic (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Saints come into the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Holy Spirit Catholic triumphed over Berry (Berry, AL), 81-54, in a league contest.
