The Trumann Wildcats basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Blytheville Chickasaws to 60 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forrest City for a 4A Region 3 contest on Monday, January 8. Trumann will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 84-45 league win over Pocahontas (Pocahontas, AR). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-8.

The Chickasaws (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Wynne (Wynne, AR). The Yellowjackets enter the 4A Region 3 contest with a 1-14 record. In their last contest, Wynne was nudged by Trumann (Trumann, AR), 57-49, in a league contest.
