Shelley Russets (Shelley, ID) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Bonneville Bees (Idaho Falls, ID), 57-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Shelley upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Russets host Pocatello (Pocatello, ID) to play the Thunder in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Thunder come into the bout with a record of 10-2. Pocatello won 65-43 in their recent league bout against Century (Pocatello, ID)

Next up, the Bees play the Thunder Ridge Titans (Idaho Falls, ID) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Bonneville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record.
