The Buckingham Charter Knights basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Cristo Rey Saints to 19 in the Knights league triumph on Thursday.

The Knights now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host John Adams Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Buckingham Charter will battle a Patriots team coming off a 71-50 non-league win over Lindhurst (Olivehurst, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 5-11.

The Saints (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Sacramento Country Day (Sacramento, CA). The Cavaliers enter the Sacramento Metropolitan Athletic League contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Sacramento Country Day was routed by Western Sierra Collegiate Academy (Rocklin, CA), 68-22, in a league contest.
