Cascade Cougars (Turner, OR) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Marist Spartans (Eugene, OR), 63-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cascade upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Cougars host Seaside (Seaside, OR) to clash with the Seagulls in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Seagulls go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Seaside won 58-45 in their recent league bout against St. Helens (St. Helens, OR)

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Hidden Valley Mustangs (Grants Pass, OR) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Marist will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record.
