Virginia High School Basketball - Holly Grove Christian ripped by Chincoteague

The Chincoteague Ponies basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Holly Grove Christian to 38 in the Ponies non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Ponies now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wicomico for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Chincoteague will meet a Indians team coming off a 62-59 league loss to Crisfield (Crisfield, MD). The Indians record now stands at 4-5.

The (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Greenwood Mennonite (Greenwood, DE). The Flames enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Greenwood Mennonite triumphed over Calvary Christian Academy (Dover, DE), 44-33, in a league contest.
