Pleasantville Trojans (Pleasantville, IA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks (Colfax, IA), 81-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pleasantville upgrades its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Interstate 35 (Truro, IA) to play the Roadrunners in a West Central bout on Friday, January 5. The Roadrunners come into the bout with a record of 2-6. Interstate 35 lost 48-39 in their recent league bout against Earlham (Earlham, IA)

Next up, the Tigerhawks play the Keota Eagles (Keota, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar bout, on Friday, January 5. Colfax-Mingo will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 10-0 record after their 77-47 league win over H-L-V (Victor, IA).
