Mullins Auctioneers (Mullins, SC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Conway Tigers (Conway, SC), 59-56 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mullins upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Auctioneers host Lee Central (Bishopville, SC) to play the Stallions in a AA Region 8 bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Stallions go into the bout with a record of 10-4.
Next up, the Tigers play the Marion Swamp Foxes (Marion, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Conway will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Swamp Foxes go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 61-45 non-league loss to Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC).
