The South Portland Red Riots basketball team (South Portland, ME), dropped 57-47 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Deering Rams (Portland, ME)
The Rams now possess a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bonny Eagle for a AA South battle on Saturday, January 6. Deering will battle a Scots team coming off a 69-58 league loss to Sanford (Sanford, ME). The Scots record now stands at 1-7.
The Red Riots (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Thornton Academy (Saco, ME). The Trojans come into the AA South battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Thornton Academy dropped by Scarborough (Scarborough, ME), 62-37, in a league battle.
